What does my child need to bring to camp?
A camp checklist will be shared with you after registration.
Where can I find my child’s missing items?
A Lost and Found Bin will be available at our JG tent or table
Where can I drop off and pick up my child for camp?
Drop off and Pick up will be at the JG tent or table with a coach. The North Entrance parking lot near the playground. 6500 Broadway Ave. Oakland, CA
Can I drive up and pick up or drop off?
No. You must park your car and walk your camper up to the registration tent or table and check in with a coach.
Will there be morning and aftercare options available this summer?
Yes, both Early and Aftercare hours are available for an additional cost.
Can I add on extended care after I’ve registered?
Yes. You can log onto your account and add it on.
Can I add on extended care as needed?
If camp is in progress and you’d like to add on extended care, you can send a request through Brightwheel or purchase on site. Subject to availability.
Do I have to sign up for Brightwheel for camp?
Yes. Brightwheel is our main communication platform for summer camps. All campers are required to use Brightwheel for safe and secure check in/out, add additional authorized persons that can pick up or drop off your camper and receive daily camp updates.
How do I check in/out my camper?
Use Brightwheel QR code or your personal passcode to securely check in/out your campers.
You must check in/out with a Coach who will be readily available upon arrival.
How can I find out how and what my kid is doing in camp?
Our JG Staff uses Brightwheel’s secure system to communicate daily activities, photos and information for you to view right on your mobile device.
At the end of each session, a newsletter and photo gallery will be shared with all families via Brightwheel
How can I reach the staff at camp for questions or changes in pick up or drop off?
Parents can use Brightwheel app to communicate via text chat or email in real time to staff on location.
